The Deep

Three one-hour films which explore the universe below the sea at a depth of one mile and below. Episodes deal with the clandestine development of deep submergence technology during the Cold War, the new lifeforms which have been found at the deepest levels, and the benefits and perils to be had from exploitation of the seas’ natural resources.

Like plummeting into an unknown dimension where logic and physics no longer apply... It's far more unsettling than James Cameron's aquatic blockbuster The Abyss.
